Funk will take over the heart of the city!
Next Saturday, August 23rd, at 6 pm , the Funk Incubator of the Chega Aí Project will be present at the 10th edition of the Virada Cultural in Belo Horizonte , at the Viaduto Xeque Mate Stage (Rua Arão Reis) .
It will be a 50-minute presentation , bringing together young artists from the communities of Alto Vera Cruz, Granja de Freitas and Taquaril , bringing to the stage the rhythm, poetry and collective strength of those who transform challenges into art and resistance.
More than a show, it is an act of affirmation: funk as a legitimate expression of urban culture, as a tool to confront racism and exclusion, and as a space for professionalization, autonomy and social transformation .
The Chega Aí project is carried out in partnership with the City of Belo Horizonte, through the Municipal Secretariat of Security and Prevention
