About The Avante Social
Transforming lives and rewriting stories: this has been the driving purpose of the Avante Social Institute for the past 25 years. Since our founding, we have worked with commitment and dedication to promote dignity and human development, with a constant focus on inclusion and empowering vulnerable communities.
Our history has been defined by the management and implementation of projects and programs that directly impact people's lives. We operate in the fields of social assistance and essential public services, developing solutions that integrate social support, health care and other critical services for those who need them most.
Through solid and transparent operations, the Avante Social Institute builds strategic partnerships with both government and private sector entities, ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of our initiatives. Our projects are implemented either independently or in collaboration with organizations that share our mission: to transform lives and build a more just and equitable future.

Over time, I have been able to acquire valuable knowledge that goes far beyond coordinating/managing a project. At SAMU, a project that I have been coordinating since 2020 through AVANTE SOCIAL, I learned the importance of making a difference in people's lives, contributing to SAVING LIVES. “My name is Alcione, I am the coordinator of CEM-Barão de Cocais with the shared management of Icismep and Avante Social and I feel very honored to be part of this project that has brought many benefits to the city. I have worked in the health area for 14 years, 2 of them with Avante Social. I can say and affirm that the benefits are great for both users and professionals, such as: more hiring of doctors, acquisition of materials, supplies and objects for our daily lives, signed employment contracts for professionals, dental plans. All of this helps us in our daily lives and contributes to the city being more relaxed. Shared management divides the burden so that it is not so heavy for the government. And with this, we have a satisfactory result because we work with the harmony of projects and processes together and unified. This brings the benefits that we need as employees and users are satisfied with the services and specialties that we have within the city of Barão de Cocais. I am proud to have participated in the creation of this Service and to be part of the implementation of this public policy aimed at homeless people in the city of Mogi Mirim. In addition to believing in the culture and values of the NGO, I am very pleased with the trust placed in me and my team, as well as with the support of the managers with frequent feedback.
