Youth that dreams, feels and transforms: “Cinema Comentado” marks Orange May with listening, art and hope

O projeto The Chega Aí project is carried out in partnership with the City of Belo Horizonte , through the Municipal Secretariat of Security and Prevention .

On May 28th and 29th , more than 35 teenagers from two municipal schools in Belo Horizonte participated in a transformative experience. The screening of the short film "I Have a Voice" opened the way for a sensitive and in-depth discussion led by Thamira Bastos , the project coordinator. More than just discussing sexual violence, the teenagers were invited to reflect on the power of art as a form of acceptance, expression, and resilience .

And it was in this spirit that the Dream Map emerged : a creative dynamic in which each participant recorded their desires for four dimensions of life— their city, their neighborhood, their school, and their personal future . The result? A collective moment of active listening, imagination, and hope, reaffirming that every voice matters and that youth leadership is essential in building a more just and secure future.
