INSTITUTIONAL RECEPTION HOUSE OF PASSAGE

Pink House

Description

With around 600 monthly visits, the project provides men and women with the essentials for dignity: nutritious food, baths, personal hygiene products, safe overnight accommodation and breakfast. In addition, it facilitates access to support network services such as social assistance and psychology, contributing to rehabilitation and social reintegration.

Our mission

More than just offering shelter, we seek to generate a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the people we welcome, respecting their stories, choices and possibilities. Casa Rosa is a space for rebuilding — with care, listening and commitment to life.

Activities that strengthen

During the evening, workshops and activities are offered aimed at strengthening autonomy and enhancing self-esteem. The following activities stand out:

  • Individual qualified listening with Psychology interns;
  • Gratitude circles with moments of spirituality and reflection;
  • Narcotics Anonymous group meetings, held in complete secrecy.

These spaces welcome emotions, reinforce personal responsibility and help each individual to follow their own path more safely.

Partnerships and support network

Casa Rosa works together with Plantão Social and CAPS AD and II, strengthening comprehensive care and ensuring the necessary monitoring for those who need it most.

Challenges we face

The high demand for shelter and the lack of resources are some of the main challenges faced by the project. The lack of physical space and the prejudice still present in society make it difficult to reintegrate those assisted and for the service to function fully.

Stories that inspire

Many of the people who were sheltered have already been able to resume their studies, return to the job market or get their own home, with the support of Casa Rosa and the protection network. Each story of overcoming obstacles is a reminder that care and opportunity can change destinies.
