INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
A Casa Violeta é mais do que um abrigo. É um lar temporário onde adolescentes do sexo e gênero feminino, entre 12 e 17 anos e 11 meses, encontram acolhimento, proteção e esperança em meio a contextos de vulnerabilidade. Cada jovem chega até nós por medida protetiva, após vivenciar riscos pessoais e sociais. Nosso trabalho é garantir não apenas segurança, mas dignidade, pertencimento e novas possibilidades de futuro.

Our mission
To ensure a safe, structured and welcoming environment, promoting all rights provided for in the Statute of Children and Adolescents. Here, each adolescent is respected in their individuality. Care is built with listening, affection and a close eye on their dreams and needs.
What we offer:
- Safe accommodation, balanced diet and health and hygiene care;
- Psychological and social support to strengthen emotions and family ties;
- Educational support and encouragement to remain in school;
- Cultural, sporting and recreational activities, focusing on leisure, expression and self-esteem;
- Actions for independent living, such as financial education and professional qualification;
- Referrals and ongoing access to physical and mental health;
- Support for family reintegration or insertion into foster families, when necessary.
Challenges faced:
Institutional care is just the beginning. The adolescents in care face deep emotional scars, social stigmas and uncertainty about the future. Preparing for independence — especially after adulthood — requires planning, monitoring and a strong support network. We work in partnership with several services, such as SSPROM, CREAS, Health Centers and Regional Centers, to ensure comprehensive care.
How to support:
- Make donations of food, clothes, toys or hygiene items;
- Donate financial resources to help with the maintenance and activities of the house;
- Volunteer: offer your time in educational, cultural or recreational activities;
- Share the project and help expand this chain of goodness;
- Build institutional partnerships or contribute your professional expertise.
